Do your products have enough power for BDSM Play?
Just what is “Dynamic Pulse Technology”?
What all can I connect to the audio input?
What accessories can I use with ErosTek products?
We’re a dealer, what is your wholesale pricing?
Q: How safe are ErosTek devices?
A: Because medical e-stim devices such as TENS and EMS devices have a excellent track record for safety, we built upon the same technology used in medical devices and the research that has gone into making them safer. E-stim, however, isn’t without risks and there are some people who shouldn’t use any e-stim device. See our Safety page for more information.
Q: How do ErosTek devices differ from medical devices?
A: While our products use a similar basic waveform compared to many medical e-stim devices, they are NOT designed for treating any sort of medical condition and should not be used for such purposes. Medical devices were not designed to be erotic, and our products were not designed to treat medical conditions. Nearly everyone finds our products far more erotic than medical e-stim devices.
Q: How much current do ErosTek products deliver?
A: The simple answer is our products can deliver a lot more current than TENS units and most competing products. Very few of our customers use the full output of our products. The more detailed answer is medical devices use constant current output circuitry that allows for consistent medical e-stim (i.e. a doctor can prescribe 40 milliamps of TENS therapy for 30 minutes per day) that makes it easy to specify their current output. We found constant current e-stim doesn’t feel as good and it’s also not as safe for erotic use. For that reason, our products dynamically adjust their output current to best suit how they’re being used. That makes them feel better and automatically deliver more or less current as required. It also makes it much harder to specify the current output because it depends on how the device is used and how the measurement is performed.
Q: What version of ErosLink software works with the ET-301R or ET-232?
A: I new version of ErosLink for the ET-232 power unit is actively being developed.
Q: Can I order direct from ErosTek?
A: Sorta. SexTek (our brother company) is the factory-direct source for ErosTek units and high-quality e-stim accessories.
Q: Why do ErosTek products cost more than some other erotic units?
A: We simply put a lot more into our products. Our units typically do more than 2 or 3 other units combined. They also typically cost several times as much to manufacture. Our ET-312B out the door weighs about 5 pounds. That’s a lot of hardware. Our profit margins are actually lower than most of our competitor’s.
Q: Are your products powerful enough for S&M use or are they mainly designed for pleasure?
A: We’re proud of the fact our products do both very nicely. Most users never come close to using the maximum power settings. Yet our products can also be highly erotic.
Q: Just what is “Dynamic Pulse Technology”?
A: It’s a proprietary method of generating erotic waveforms in the digital domain. The result is greatly increased variety and unique erotic sensations. You can read all the details in our Technology section.

E-Stim Safety
October 30, 2009A Few Words on Safety
Electrostimulation is widely used for physical therapy and medical purposes. TENS units, for example, are often sent home with physical therapy patients for regular, and sometimes long term use. Our products use the same well proven bipolar waveform technology that’s used in medical devices such as most TENS and EMS units. Devices designed for erotic use have also been in use for over 15 years with few reports of serious problems.
E-stim, however, isn’t without risks and isn’t for everyone. E-stim devices are NOT for use by or on anyone with implanted electronic devices (i.e. pacemakers, defibrillators, drug pumps, etc.), heart problems, heart disease, epilepsy, brain disorders, nervous system disorders, a history of strokes or seizures, or similar medical conditions. Pregnant women, women who might be pregnant or anyone under the age of 18 should also not use any e-stim device. If you have any doubts or questions, you should contact ErosTek and a qualified physician before using any e-stim products.
It’s important to keep the path of current away from the heart, neck and head areas. The general guideline is: “Keep it below the waist.” Our equipment is intended for use with electrodes and accessories designed for safe electrostimulation. Always follow the accessory manufacture’s instructions as well as those that come with our products. Body piercings, or other contacts with similarly small surface area, should not be connected to any electrostimulation equipment. Always read and follow all the safety information included with e-stim devices.
ErosTek products incorporate additional features not found in many competing products that enhance safety such as symmetrical bipolar waveforms and fully isolated outputs. We use fail safe measures in our circuitry to limit the output even if a component should fail. We also limit our waveform duty cycle to minimize the energy dissipated in the body. Our products incorporate an automatic self-test that checks critical circuits every time you turn them on. We take safety seriously but ultimately e-stim safety is in the hands of the user.
If you have any doubt about the risks associated with e-stim, consult a physician and SexTek Support before purchasing or using our products.

Guide to E-Stim
October 30, 2009Creative minds found new uses for a 1950′s device called the Relaxacisor. As the name implies, the Relaxacisor provided passive “exercise” by stimulating muscles with an electrical current. This later became more commonly known as EMS, or Electro Muscular Stimulation, and is still around today. It didn’t take long for creative people to figure out they could wire these units to more sensitive parts of the anatomy and stimulate more than just muscles. So at least since the 50′s people have been getting off while wired up. Most EMS devices, however, offer little variety in their stimulation.
The medical profession helped out in the late 70′s with the introduction of TENS or Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. TENS is widely used by physical therapists for pain management. Again, many people found alternate uses for their TENS units. Many offer more variety in their output than EMS devices, and are optimized to act on nerves rather than muscles, but they’re typically less powerful and are certainly not designed to be erotic. In fact, they’re designed to deaden sensation (such as back pain).
Made-for-play devices first became popular somewhere around the early 80′s. Most work on roughly the same principal as TENS and EMS devices but are marketed for erotic purposes. They usually allow adjustment of frequency and level, but most lack other options to add sufficient variety to the stimulation. Enthusiasts find most of them boring after a while, as the output doesn’t change unless you manually change the settings.
Erotic e-stim technology moved ahead in early 1999 when ErosTek entered the scene. We developed digital Dynamic Pulse Technology and created an entirely new genre of devices. Imagine someone sitting at a piano playing the same single note over and over–that’s pretty much what our competitors products do. Now imagine sitting down and having a pianist play real music–that’s what our products do. See our Technology section for more details about what makes ErosTek different.
Beginners should start by checking out our Buyer’s Guide and Safety sections. There’s also a link on our Resources page to an online forum specializing in erotic e-stim. If you’ve never experienced any of this, you might want to find someone who’s familiar with it to give you a demonstration. It’s not for everyone, but even those who suspect they won’t like it, often end up wishing they’d discovered it a long time ago.
Safety is Important! You should only use devices specifically designed for the human body. You should also read all the instructions and safety information that comes with any electrostimulation product. Everyone should read our Safety section.

E-Stim
October 30, 2009Why Electrostimulation?
Many people enjoy erotic e-stim simply because it makes them horny. Couples have discovered it’s the perfect enhancement to spice up their love life. Individuals find it takes masturbation to a whole new level with some even experiencing “hands free” orgasms. Still others use it for erotic BDSM play where it can create high-intensity sensations without causing the lingering discomfort and harm to the body you often get with other BDSM techniques.
Erotic e-stim is a great addition to many sexual scenarios. Our products can produce a continuously changing variety of erotic sensations. You could put a blindfold on your partner, and they’ll swear you’re working all sorts of magic. In reality, you’ll just be sitting back and watching ErosTek do all the work! There are endless possibilities–especially when you consider our exclusive microphone, audio, remote control and computer capabilities.
What Does it Feel like?
Interestingly, erotic electrostimulation feels very different from what most people imagine. With the right equipment, it can be extremely pleasurable and is sometimes described as feeling like an “internal vibrator.” When you supply the right electrical signals to the body’s nerves, the recipient can feel some amazingly erotic sensations. Mere words don’t really do it justice.

ErosTek Technology
October 30, 2009The ErosTek Advantage!
Our advanced technology is the key to our products. We introduced the world’s first digital erotic e-stim product in early 1999. This section describes some of the technology that sets us apart. So if you’re curious about the science behind the magic, keep reading . . .
Dynamic Pulse Technology
We invented something called Dynamic Pulse Technology (DPT). It’s a unique method of generating erotic electrostimulation waveforms in the digital domain while all relevant parameters are dynamically adjusted in real-time. By comparison, most other units require you to manually set things like the pulse frequency, pulse width, intensity and on/off rate. Once set, these units put out the same monotonous waveform over and over. With DPT, ErosTek creates a wide variety of sensations the others can’t come close to.
Imagine sitting down at a piano. With most products, you can pick what note you want, and how fast it’s played, but that’s all you get–one note played endlessly. DPT allows entire “songs” (stimulation routines) to be “played.” Our digital processor can change the notes on the fly, change how fast they’re played and even how “loud.” Our products can even produce the equivalent of a “chord” (several “notes” at once). Sensations can range from a light tickle to a deep down throb–all without touching the controls. With ErosLink, you can even download and/or write your own “songs”!
TriPhase Stimulation
Imagine having three electrodes–lets call them “A,” “B” and “C.” Now try to imagine what it might feel like (with creative electrode placement) if you could create a unique current flowing from A to B, a different current flowing from B to C and finally a third unique current from A to C? Now imagine the three currents artfully coordinated so the sensations flow and intermingle between the three areas of your body? That’s the magic of our TriPhase stimulation. If you try the above with any other e-stim product we’re aware of, you’ll only get, at most, two unique currents.
ErosLink Interface
We’ve invented a multipurpose interface that connects to a computer or can connect two ET-312 units together. This is a fully digital connection and allows new stimulation routines to be loaded into the ET-312. It also provides real-time control and adjustment of the unit over the link. This allows connecting two units together with one acting as a “master” and the other a “slave.” The master unit can coordinate the stimulation across all four channels so the two devices, in some ways, behave as a single 4 channel unit. The real-time control feature can even allow remote control of the ET-312 over the Internet (a future enhancement). Our exclusive Link interface opens up endless possibilities.
Balanced Symmetrical Bipolar Waveforms
Up until we came along, one key difference between medical grade electrostimulation equipment and the erotic units has been the waveforms. Most medical grade equipment, such as high quality TENS and EMS units, use a true symmetrical balanced bipolar waveform (sometimes called “biphasic”). This means the peak positive and negative currents are the same. We agree with all those medical researchers and, even though it requires more costly circuitry, our units nearly stand alone among erotic models in using the same bipolar waveform technology.
Why is bipolar better? For one thing, it assures uniform sensations between two similar electrodes. With a nonsymmetrical waveform, you’ll often feel the current more in one electrode than the other–it feels “lopsided.” Many people think bipolar just plain feels better. There’s also evidence that symmetrical bipolar waveforms are safer as they may help prevent electrochemical reactions. Finally, bipolar allows higher intensity levels from a given peak current value reducing the amount of peak current needed.
Isolated & Independent Outputs
Nearly all e-stim units (erotic or otherwise) use a common waveform generator shared between multiple channels. At best, they can alternate the same output across multiple channels. Some are really just a single channel device with two or more output jacks (and perhaps multiple level controls).
Our multi-channel devices use completely independent circuitry and can do entirely different things on each channel. This greatly adds to the variety that can be produced. To use the piano analogy again, it’s a lot like having a pianist use two hands on the keyboard instead of only one. The left and right hand can do different things, but in a coordinated way. That’s similar to what our more advanced stimulation routines do.
We also fully isolate the outputs from each other and the rest of the circuitry. Why is this important? Many units share a common connection between their two outputs. This means you can easily end up with current flowing through unintended parts of the body. In some cases, this isn’t only undesirable, it can be dangerous.
Our isolated outputs also provide an additional measure of safety, protecting you against a failure in the device itself or any connected equipment. If your stereo or computer is plugged into one of our products, even if it should fail, have a grounding problem, etc., the outputs are safely isolated so your body isn’t part of the circuit. Likewise, there’s an additional layer of isolation between you and the power source.
Quality Design & Engineering
Our products, unlike most consumer electronics these days, are manufactured in the USA. Components are conservatively specified to assure maximum life and a minimum of failures. Critical circuitry is designed with fail-safe measures to enhance safety. Each unit is extensively tested before it’s shipped out and we back it all up with a solid warranty and customer service.
ErosTek Experience
When it comes to high end e-stim, ErosTek has more experience than anyone. We pioneered digital e-stim, audio based stimulation, remote control, Dynamic Pulse Technology, MultiAdjust, TriPhase and other revolutionary features and technology. We have listened carefully to our customers and learned a lot as our products have evolved.

Testimonials
October 30, 2009What Our Customers Think
We’ve made some pretty strong claims for our products. If you’re skeptical, we encourage you to ask around and find someone who owns an ErosTek product. Chances are they’ll have very good things to say. Some sample comments:
Public forum comments:
- I’m extremely satisfied with this unit, and I’d expect that when people figure out how much fun these are, you’ll have a hard time keeping up with demand.
- I would say, without hesitation, that Erostek/Sextek offer products that are IN A CLASS OF THEIR OWN and their support of those products is equally unparalleled…
- It’s the best sex toy I own, period (and I have quite a few). In fact, I almost feel bad, because I feel like most of my other sex toys will be sitting in a bin for a looong time now.
- I stimmed for about an hour, totally immersed in the incredible sensations.
- What can I say- its fantastic. I have turned lots of friends on to estimming with it. I have tried changing the internal settings but have always gone back to the default settings. It is clearly, a well thought out device.
- The ET-312 has been a very fine performer, and I recommend it to all. The built-in programs are excellent,
- I’ve had mine for a few months now, and love it. Everything already said is true and so much more. The ability to create your own routines with ErosLink is a HUGE plus.
- It’s a great unit, no doubt about it. After a couple of months, I’ve found that my “favorites” keep changing. I guess that says a lot about the variety and their effectiveness.
Simply Amazing!
“I had played with your previous ET-212 and immediately wanted one. I ended up getting the ET-312 and can only say it’s simply amazing! I’ve played with a lot of other electric toys including some of the newest ones on the market. I can honestly say none of them even come close to the ET-312. Great job ErosTek!” – Gary, Los Angeles
ET-312 Is A Big Hit
“The Waves mode on your new ET-312 is a big hit with everyone who’s experienced it. It has been responsible for a few ‘hands off’ orgasms and even has someone who used to hate electricity begging for more.” – Jeff, Seattle
Even More Variety
“I love my ET-212 and it was hard to imagine wanting to buy something else. After trying the ET-312 at IML, I couldn’t resist. I’m really glad I bought one as it has even more variety than the ET-212 and the high frequency output is more erotic. I was worried it might be harder to use but if I can figure it out, anyone can.” – David, Chicago
Ultimate BDSM Toy
“In my opinion, your new ET-312 is the ultimate BDSM toy. It has more power than anything else I’ve used and the range of sensations is amazing. It can do anything from induce an orgasm to keep a sub guessing as to what’s coming next. I also use the microphone as an incentive to keep my subs quiet. I want another one!” – Professional Dominatrix, Los Angeles
